Our elementary school is made up of students from PreK through grade 6. The small class sizes and dedicated teachers create an individualized learning environment, where every child can reach their full academic potential while at the same time encouraging emotional and spiritual well-being.
In addition to our full-day preK program, we also offer a half-day program that runs from 7:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. For both preK programs, we offer the ability to choose the number of days for your child to attend (3, 4, or 5 days per week), giving families flexibility in their child’s education.
The PreK and Kindergarten curriculum uses the Tools of the Mind program, which is based on learning through play. This program is a “research-based early childhood program that builds strong foundations for school success by promoting intentional and self-regulated learning in preschool and kindergarten aged children.” For more information about the Tools of the Mind program, please visit https://toolsofthemind.org.
The academic program also includes instruction in art, music, physical education, computer science, Spanish, and religion. Students in grades 3–6 are instructed in English/language arts by their homeroom teacher and rotate through other subjects (science, social studies, math, and religion) during the day. This allows for a team approach to educational instruction and promotes a variety of teaching techniques, supporting a diversity of learning styles.
