Admissions Policies

General policies

St. Mary’s Elementary School’s admission procedure supports the school’s mission in its recruitment practice by encouraging candidates who demonstrate the ability to benefit from its academic environment and to meet the expectations of a Christian community.  Students are admitted regardless of race, creed, color, socio-economic status and national or ethnic creed/origin.

Junior–Senior High requirements

It is important to remember that all students are accepted on an annual basis.  Reacceptance for successive years will be based upon the attitude, behavior, and achievement of the student and is entirely the decision of the school.  New students are accepted into all grade levels if space is available and at the discretion of the school administration, based on the academics and conduct at the previous school attended. A placement exam is not required. The enrollment process requires the following documentation and includes a personal interview with the principal.

  • Completed St. Mary’s Schools application
  • Report cards (2 full years of documentation, including the most recent year)
  • Standardized tests (MCAS or Terra Nova)
  • Discipline report from previous school
  • IEP or 504 plan (if applicable)
