A Round of Applause!

From Mr. Siemaszko – Just a quick note of thanks to my pre-K colleagues for letting me visit your classrooms last Thursday. Beautiful children and wonderful teachers doing God’s work brought Advent into my heart. God bless you for the miracles you do everyday!

Special thanks to Father Richard and Deacon Steve for training our new altar servers and for making their first Mass such a special event.

Basketball season is upon us. Schedules can be viewed on the Athletics page. Please be diligent to check schedules, touch base with coaches, and/or contact Mr. McAnulty (rmcanulty@stmaryshigh.org) if you have any questions. Thank you.

December 10th (Tuesday) – “Rep Your Flag” Out of Uniform Day hosted by International Club. Cost to participate is $3.00. All funds go to support our two celebrations of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12th and our Spring celebration near Mother’s Day. Participants can wear: 1) articles of clothing that show the colors of the nation/flag (i.e. wear red and white for Poland; red, white, and blue for the United States of America) 2) clothing which has the country’s flag on it 3) traditional costumes/clothing of the nation 4) accessories (jewelry/headbands/head scarves) to represent the nation 5) clothing which displays the name of the country Absolutely NO FLAGS are to be worn as articles of clothing out of respect for all flags. All clothing must be in compliance with Out of Uniform Day Code (excessively tight clothing, hats, yoga pants, etc. are NOT allowed).

December 10th (Tuesday) – Antonio’s Restaurant fundraiser to benefit Home and School Association, 11:30 am – 11:00 pm. Mark your calendars and plan ahead for this night out.

December 11th (Wednesday) – Home and School Association Meeting @ 6:00 pm. Join us to learn about the many ways to help the school. Hope to see you there!

December 12th (Thursday) – For grades 7-12: International Club hosts Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass @ 10:30 am at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and a small festival of Foods of the Americas at 11:15 am in the auditorium.

December 13th (Friday) – FAN FRIDAY! Wear your favorite STM gear. Tops only. School bottoms are required.

December 20th (Friday) – Christmas Program @ 12:30 pm. More details to come soon.
