STREAM FOCUS: Religion/Service and Ethnicity

From All Staff: On Tuesday, November 26th, we celebrated Thanksgiving with the entire school. What a blast! It was a great time of food, sharing, and fun.

From Grade 12: Great news! We surpassed our goal! We have raised $325.00 for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Thank you for your support. God bless! ~ STM Class of 2020

A Round of Applause!

Special thanks to our faithful members of Home and School, Mrs. Prytko, Mrs. Lech, Mrs. Szkoda, and Mrs. Rodgriguez for masterminding the Thanksgiving Feast. Thank you for your tireless coordination, donation of supplies, and experience in the kitchen.

Thank you to Mr. Eric Johnson from Assumption College and Mr. Dimokas for your kitchen expertise. The food was outstanding!

Thank you to the many parents and family friends who volunteered their time to help us celebrate and give thanks together.

Thanks to our Student Council members helped prepare food, as well as the dining area. We are grateful for each one of you!

Basketball season is upon us. Please be diligent to check schedules, touch base with coaches, and/or contact Mr. McAnulty (rmcanulty@stmaryshigh.org) if you have any questions. Thank you.

December 5th (Thursday) – Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser. Please bring to the office ASAP!

December 5th (Thursday) – 1st “Friday” Mass on Thursday @ 8:30 am. Our newly trained altar servers will be in full vestments. We hope you will join us.

NO SCHOOL: December 6th (Friday): Professional Development

December 6th (Friday) – Our 2nd annual Alumni Basketball game has been POSTPONED due to a scheduling conflict. Please email Robert McAnulty, Athletic Director (rmcanulty@stmaryshigh.org) if you have any questions.

December 10th (Tuesday) – “Rep Your Flag” Out of Uniform Day hosted by International Club. Cost to participate is $3.00. All funds go to support our two celebrations of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12th and our Spring celebration near Mother’s Day. Participants can wear: 1) articles of clothing that show the colors of the nation/flag (i.e. wear red and white for Poland; red, white, and blue for the United States of America) 2) clothing which has the country’s flag on it 3) traditional costumes/clothing of the nation 4) accessories (jewelry/headbands/head scarves) to represent the nation 5) clothing which displays the name of the country. Absolutely NO FLAGS are to be worn as articles of clothing out of respect for all flags. All clothing must be in compliance with Out of Uniform Day Code (excessively tight clothing, hats, yoga pants, etc. are NOT allowed).

December 10th (Tuesday) – Antonio’s Restaurant fundraiser to benefit Home and School Association, 11:30 am – 11:00 pm. Mark your calendars and plan ahead for this night out.

December 12th (Thursday) – International Club hosts Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass @ 10:30 am at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and a small festival of foods at 11:15 am.

December 20th (Friday) – Christmas Program @ 12:30 pm. More details to come soon.
