STREAM FOCUS: Science and Religion

From Mr. Siemaszko: Wednesday, October 23rd was National Mole Day! Our newest Mole (Matthew S.) distributed mole droppings (Tootsie Rolls) as students arrived at school for the day. Throughout the day, students participated in Mole-Olympics, learning more about Physics and its uses.

From Mrs. Colorio: Grade 12 students worked at St. John’s Church Food for the Poor in Worcester. They had the opportunity to interact with visitors, work on the food line, bus tables, and bring food from the kitchen. The students were greatly impacted by this experience and can’t wait to go back to help.

Updates

Our Mixed Bag/Boon fundraiser was a great success, raising about $1,200 for the Home and School Association (HSA). Many orders, however, were overpaid by $1.00 because of tax. If you paid tax on your order, please consider donating this dollar for HSA or you may request an exact refund of the tax from Mrs. Szkoda at marianneszkoda@gmail.com.

PSAT 8/9 is complete. All students were successfully tested using Chromebooks. Results will be available from The College Board soon.
